Cannot Take Photos
Whenever I press "photo" button on the screen to take photo, there is a red square pops up on the uper right corner. It looks like a mermory card with a line crosses on top. Is it because I don't have a SD card in my Canon M41?

Based on your description, this might be because there is no memory card in your Canon VIXIA HF M41 device. The red light might be a signal that the captured image cannot be saved to an external storage card. Please read the user's manual to be familiar with light indicators and other functions of the device.
