How Remove The Old Pictures From The Camera?

One way to remove the pictures is to remove the memory card from the camera, plug it into a card reader on the PC and copy/move/delete them from the memory card. This will require a card reader in the PC or an add on one such as these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007958%20600031471&IsNodeId=1&name=External
Another way is to plug the transfer cable into the camera, then into the PC and move/copy/delete the images from the camera. Basically the same process as with the card reader except that you are using the camera as a card reader.
The easiest way is from the camera itself. The user manual noted above explains in detail how to do this.
Press the MENU button. In the ">" menu use the up/down arrow keys to =select the trash can icon. Press the "func/set" button. Select the method you want to use to delete (by date, category, folder, all, etc), press "func/set". Select the image, press"funct/set". Use the arrow key to select OK.
NOTE... This will permanently delete images.
Download a copy of the user manual for complete details on deleting images.
