My Printer Keeps Telling Me To Load Paper, I Have Loaded Paper, Not Working
My printer keeps telling me to load paper, i have loaded paper, yet it still continues to give me that same message. I have unplugged it, rebooted it, yet no results. i need help please.

Had the same issue, called Canon tech support 800-652-2666. These were the steps: Remove all paper. Power off the unit, then unplug it. Press the power button 5x to discharge any electricity still in the unit. All of that is probably unnecessary considering it was just prior to me opening it up to give them my serial # that was inside. Plug the unit in and power it on. Wait for it to go through it's normal procedure and when it get to the main menu, put 3 good sheets of paper in the paper slot on the bottom. No fancy paper. Now press the tool icon (left of the screen, bottom right icon of the 4 icons) and scroll right until you get to maintenance. Once there, click "OK" then scroll right until you get to "Roller Cleaning". Click "OK". This should start the cleaning process. If you're lucky, all three sheets will go through 1 by 1. That was the end of my conversation with them. I'm still under warranty so my unit is replaceable. However, after hanging up, I went to print and it printed 1 page and asked to load paper again (had paper in). So I went through the menu and, in maintenance, selected cleaning (didn't have paper in at this point). Then after that process, I selected deep cleaning (during this process, it requested paper to be loaded). It took the paper without issue. After that, I printed 2 sheets from my email and made 2 copies from the machine itself. No problems! Hope this helps. You have a 12 month warranty on the unit. They replace the whole unit if it's defective.
