Our Mx420 Is Not Working

Our MX420 quit,screen says "printer error has occured, turn off and try again etc" I did several times, but still the same message. there is also code 6500 in the header. NEED HELP FAST  Thank you Just need to know if it is fatel or can I fix..need this immediatly
