what driver can I use for my mx340 on my iMac with a 10.8.2 OS? every time I use the scanner, it crashes. However the printer still works

You will really need the scanner/printer driver software to make your Canon PIXMA MX340 function properly. You can download the driver software which is compatible with Mac OS 10.8 from the support website of Canon. Please follow these steps:
1. Visit
2. Select your Operating System
3. Select its Version
4. Click the Driver link
5. Downlad the driver and install in your printer
6. Restart your computer and try to print a test page
