Canon Mp49d Calculator Function Buttons Don't Work
This calculator is approx. 1.5 yrs. old and worked fine up until one hour ago. Functions used are only basic - + - X /and %, subtotals and totals. Usually have print funtion on so it prints on tape. Nonoe of the function buttons either on right or left of the number buttons work. Nothing prints on tape, nothing subtotals or totals. Feed button seems to be the only thing that works. First set of numbers displays on LED display, however when 2nd set of numbers are entered, they display to the right of the 1st set, making it look like one big number (all digits in a row). I turned power off, unplugged power cord and re-plugged it, changed the lithium battery and reset on back but nothing helps. Is this calculator repairable?

I suggest you check the backup battery (CR 2032). I also advise you to reset the unit by pressing the reset pin in the rear of the calc.
