Abs Light Not Turning On At All When Turning Key To The 'on' Position

what can cause the abs indicator light on the instrument panel of a 2003 cad deville to not light up when turning on the ignition key switch? all the other lights turn on then off in a few seconds like normal. is there a certain wire that i can check? i checked the fuses that were abs related and they were good. any suggestions would be apprieciated. thanks
