Help Me!!! She Overheats!! :(

i always wanted one, and unfortunately finally bought one, its a 98 sts... gorgeous inside and out... unfortunately, there's an overheating issue... im not a mechanic, so please, bear with me. i replaced the thermostat with a 180 degree, and still has the issue, its not leaking anything, except a very very minor oil leak, doesnt drip, just a drop or two of oil on the bottom of the pan which i dont think could be responsible for the overheating problem, think its just a gasket as i hear this is a common issu with these engines. i dont think its head gasket, as it doesnt blow white exhaust, nor is there bubbkes/oil in the coolant, when it overheats it drains the water in the surge tank. rad looks clean, hoses dont seem to be clogged, the heat/a.c. works great. if any other info is needed just please ask me, any expert advise would be greatly appreciated, thanks much
