Fuel Problems

i have a 98 cadillac which shut off at a red light and i thought the fuel pump went bad ,but i changed it and still had no power to the pump i checked the fuses and the relays all were good. i was told the fuel temp switch might be the problem but i have no idea where it is found on the car please help.
