Service Engine Soon Light On And Service Ride Control Message.

How can i fix the error lights and messages on my car? Any ideas? Everythings seems normal, especially driving, car runs smooth. Just the lights and messages. Thank u

Both of these WARNINGSare on for a reason whether they are steming from the same malfunction or two seperate problems. Without knowing what trouble codes the engine is kicking its impossible to diagnose the problem(s). You need to take the car to an authorized service center for diagnostics and repair. To reset the warning system is easy but without addressing the problem, the warnings will most likely come back on and if ignored will result in more damage costing more to repair. But here is how to do it. I implore you to get it checked out.

Things You'll Need

Socket wrench
10mm Socket

Instructions

- 1
  Open the hood and disconnect the negative battery cable clamp from the negative battery terminal using a socket wrench. Turn the nut on the cable clamp counterclockwise with the wrench to loosen it.
- 2
  Pull the clamp up and off of the negative battery terminal.
- 3
  Wait 15 minutes. Then, reconnect the negative battery cable clamp to the negative battery terminal.
- 4
  Tighten the nut on the negative battery cable clamp.
- 5
  Turn the ignition to the "on" position.
- 6
  Wait for the "service engine soon" light to go out.
