Lcd Not Working Properly

Hi, My LCD display won't show properly all the information. For example, I can't see if I'm in Bow mode or Rifle mode. The numbers for distance and letters (rifle setting) are incomplete (show part of the number and/or letter (A-J)), can't see the "bullseye" mode, battery indicator, etc. I have an CR2 3V alcaline... Could this be the source of the problem since it is indicated to use Lithium battery?
