Overcharging

(Three issues total) I went to the BK inside our local Wal-Mart 1-24-2018 @ 18:37pm Store #19835 inside the Wal-Mart Newport News VA, 23606... the new night shift supervisor is always very nice and friendly, yesterday I purchased a small order of onion rings for a snack, Normally I would usually order a much larger order but due to numerous problems at this BK,, i order less items, less often. they frequently manages to over charge me, I though it was over taxing me but i discovered what has been happening. The big ordering sign that all customers looks lists one price but the register rings up a higher price than the sign, example: Customer Order sign states says $1.69... I pull out $2, but the cashier says that the total is $2.03, I respond with "34 cents is a lot of tax for this", the cashier looks at the ticket and says "the tax is only 24 cents", to make a long story short, the cash register has been OVER CHARGING by 10 cents more than the big customer order sign says. the nice new night shift supervisor doesn't know how to handle this, I this false advertising, so i said just cancel the order then and give me my money back, he was very courteous and apologized and he triple checked everything and seemed quite puzzled as he could not change the prices from the register computer... I LEFT WITHOUT GETTING ANY FOOD this time. I took photos of the big sign and receipt. 10 cents might seem a little nitpicky but how long has this been going on? this adds up and isn't right.I have a large pile of BK receipts that go back to September when I arrived here in Virginia ... I think that we should go through these together... I don't know what the total is yet, but I expect BK to make this right. I think that BK corporate should have a serious talking to both the owner and the head manager about this. other BK stores put their phone number and address and store number big on top of the receipts, but this BK does not ...it does say to call the STORE MANAGER SYNTHIA but has no phone number or address or any way to contact the store. ... at first i thought there was no store number as it is NO STORE NUMBER ON TOP OF RECEIPT so how are you supposed to contact them with no contact info? the "Feel Free to call us" printed on top of the receipt is just BS, but I did find a tiny fine print at the bottom that states store # 19835. I used to frequent this BK about twice per week and often bring my granddaughter and get her food or share mine. I already have cut down ALOT from this BK store as they charge for condiments or let me rephrase that they CHARGE FOR ONE SINGLE CONDIMENT WHEN I ORDER A BURGER, this is uncalled for. I often will split it with my granddaughter and ask for one mayo packet so I can put it on my half, cooks don't seem to like putting condiments on only half a burger... I have over heard at least 7 other customers at different times say they are never coming back because of condiment charges.overall I feel that this store is riding the line to see how much they can get away with from both the customer and BK corporate. this store is tarnishing the BK Brand.I also used to fill out your surveys on the back of the receipts, but the offer change to a pretty much useless deal so I don't do them anymore.If there is not a satisfactory response, Part of my family currently works for National ABC-TV News and they love stories like this... You are welcome to call me 949-370-5632, I think that I would prefer to hear from corporate rather than the local store contacting me, if that's not too much trouble...thank you. Dave
