Why do you want to remove the passenger side airbag? If it's because the airbag light is on, then you do not need to remove it. Buick has a BIG problem with the sensor in the passenger seat being defective, which is why the light goes on. Check the sensor and replace it before you attempt to remove the airbag.

Airbag removal is tricky. You must remove the battery cables and the airbag fuse and wait at least 10 minutes. You also have to be sure you don't trigger it with static electricity. If it isn't the sensor, I would take it to a dealer and have them replace the airbag for you.
