Greetings. Under the plastic cowl piece at the base of the windshield, you can look in with a flashlight. The most likely thing that is happening is the motor is spinning but the linkage has come loose. You can verify this by visually seeing the motor spin but not the linkage. Remove the wiper arms and then the plastic cowl piece and then you can tighten the 13MM nut that holds the linkage to the motor. Be sure the arms are set to the base of the windshield(park position) when you remove them so when you tighten the 13MM nut, the motor AND the linkage is in the park position. (When it is properly aligned, the 13MM nut will be under the linkage and quite difficult to get to. Once the nut is semi tight, you can allow the linkage AND motor to rotate as you tighten the nut. That will keep them indexed properly and allow access to the nut to really tighten it up. (VERY IMPORTANT!!!!! TAKE THE IGNITION KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION OR THE MOTOR WILL SPIN BY ITSELF AND CUT YOU BADLY!!!!!)

Hope that is helpful.
