Follow the upper radiater hose to the block and you'll see the thermostat housing. But really, its more likely to be the fan relay if the fans arent kicking on. The thermostat just opens and closes controlling the flow of the antifreeze. The fans would still run if the thermostat got stuck because the motors hot. If the relay to the fans goes out the computer cant kick the fans on.

My mistake I ment to post this along with my post. Here is the location of the temperature sensor. I would check for current coming out of the relay first tho. They are prone to going out.
