Bypass Airbag Sysem In 1993 Buick Roadmaster

I have a 1993 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon and i am using it for a Demolition Derby car. I have set off the airbag by pulling out the yellow wirres and hooking them to a battery outsde the car. And now the car will wirl over but won't fire or start.
