Security Light Blinking It Thinks The Trunk Is Open It Is Not. Draining The Batt

SECURITY light blinking it thinks the trunk is open it is not. draining the battery. I opened the trunk with the key and the alarm went put key in the door and turn alarm off but the alarm has not work sence can I bypass the trunk switch and where would I find it. 1991 Riviera. LJR
