The local Buick dealer service rep would not even speculate on problem, would not offer a single breath of air of a suggestion. The local auto parts stores gave me prices on the costs of the blower motor, the resistor unit, control modules.
I watched some Youtube videos on how to remove and replace the blower motor which were very helpful
Out of sheer frustration, I left all these Pilgrims and started out to locate the two screws below the glove compartment
I first wanted to see how secure the plastic housing was that is affixed beneath the glove compartment before I removed the two screws,
I made it a point to keep the engine on and the non operating heater blower motor on high blower setting while I did this preliminary examination.
As I firmly checked how secure the plastic housing was below the glove compartment, I immediately discovered the heater blower motor instantly started operating
Apparently, the plastic housing below the glove compartment had been pressed against the fan blades of the blower motor which had prevented the fan blades from moving
My forceful examination of the plastic housing around the blower blades had freed the fan blades to now move freely
