False Thread Break Alarms

We have two 423a machines where it seems the thread breakage sensors are " oversensitive" so that we constantly get false thread break stoppages. This happens even though the thread tension is correct, machines are serviced, and the sensors wheels are spinning round very nicely.Another question - I know it is possible to rest the settings on the machines by holding down some of the control panel buttons but dont know which ones...
