Burnt Wiring Found
Requesting if there have been complaints of the Bosch Dishwasher model SHX55RL5UC/64 burning one leg of the power cord off at the ceramic/plastic power hoockup block. This is usually an indication that either the heater element and associated circuitry shorted or over heated, the master control board shorted or a wiring harness shorted against the cabinet.So far I have found no visual indication of a shorted wiring harness. The unit was loaded, then started, then the home owner left the residence and upon returning found that the dishwasher had stopped, was still full of water, and unit had no power. Home owner also noticed that there was a faint smell of something burning, owner then turned braker to dishwasher off. Upon inspection by tech, owner found that one leg of the power cord had burned off and almost touching cabinet of dishwasher.Am interested in seeing if anyone else has had this same issue. This is dangerous, burning wire and possibility of electrical shock by the owner is not something one should expect from owning a dishwasher.

Hi. No, there is no similar scenario to prove that the sad encounter with the model is reproducing itself. Which thing would have to lead to a recall.
