Dishwasher Dryer
I have had this bosch dishwasher for a number of years and just know has my wife wanted a new dishwasher AGAIN complaining that all the dishes are still wet when the dishwasher comnpletes its cycle. Is there an OFF /ON switch for the dishwasher dryer?

No switch. The Bosch Model SHE45M06UC uses it's stainless walls to dry the dishes. It does not draw on electric to dry. It works by using hot water and the stainless creates the heat to dry the dishes.
I have this model and notice if I place items that have a dip or plastic containers on the top shelf the water collects and therefore puddles too much to dry. Hoping this makes sense.

Updated information. To use extra dry heat. Press and hold the left Cancel Drain button, then press and hold the on/off button. When the LED shows a OO or O1 release both buttons. To enable additional drying heat, press the left cancel drain button until the led shows a 01. To disable this action use the same instructions but press the left cancel drain button to read 00.
Press the on/off button to save the setting.
The steps above will raise the temperature of the rinse water and increase the drying minutes which should result in improved drying. Setting it back to 00 would decrease the temperature as well as the drying time. As stated in prior message, the heat of the rinse temp actually heats the stainless to where it acts as the dryer thereby being energy effecient.
