Automatic Time Limitation

The manual says automatic time limitation is activated depending on the selected cooking level and can turn off from 1 to 10 hours. How exactly are the levels and length of time interdependent? I'd hate to be cooking along at level 3 expecting a fairly long cooking time and have it cut off at an hour!

If a hotplate has been switched on for a long time without the setting being changed, the automatic time limit is activated.

When the time limit is activated depends on the heat setting selected (1 to 10 hours). Refer to page 7 of the manual for information to turn it off.
