Why Won't The Ringtones On My Lg Venice Work As A Message Tone Anymore?

I bought my LG Venice when it first came out and downloaded a handful of ringtones. They work as ringtones, and I had one set as a message tone as well. After the update, my message tone defaulted to one that was preprogrammed into the phone. I figured that the update probably just reset everything so I went to change it back to how I had it before and it seems as if I'm no longer able to do this. Does anyone know if there's a new way to set ringtones as message tones, or is that something that the update completely eliminated? If it helps, I recieve a message saying "Boost Music has stopped working" after I go into Boost Music and try to set a ringtone to a specific contact. This message appears AFTER I close Boost Music, however. Any tips/hints for getting my phone back to the way I want it would be greatly appreciated.

I had this same problem, and I just looked up on a forum how to change it. Go to your messaging screen and press the settings key next to the home button, and press settings when it comes up. Then go to notification, and press notification sound, and then choose your ringtone! I hope this helped.
