Twitter Problems

Trying to figure out - why - when I try to use my Motorola, i776 flip, I can't access my twitter account, I already have set up. I am on a $50 prepaid (unlimited) plan and it keeps telling me (when I try to sign into my account) that Twitter access is denied, because it can only be used by "premium members" and to contact customer care for further details.
