Trouble Sycing Facebook To Kyocera Hydro

I am having trouble syncing facebook to my kyocera hydro. i just bought the phone 4 days ago, and it says that it is snyced to facebook, but it wont let me add facebook as a connection to my contacts, only google plus. Is there a way to sync facebook my contact pictures are the same as my friends facebook pictures? ive been able to do this on every other android phone but this one seems to be having difficulty. Ive even went into my facebook to change settings and still nothing
