Can I Change The 'browser' On My Sanyo Boost Incognito Phone?

Tried getting my comcast mail box on the web, but, unable to do so. The website said it best to change my browser to netscape or internet explorer. If I attempt to do so; #1 will it allow me to? #2 is it reversible? and #3 does anyone know of adverse or undesired effects from this.

Internet explorer will not work. You can try Opera mini which you can get here. http://www.opera.com/mobile/

I am not sure if this will allow you to do so but it is worth a try, it is completely reversible and does no harm.
