That will all depend on which wireless company the phone originally came from. If the device is a Verizon phone, you likely will not be able to activate the phone using Boost Mobile. As Verizon and Sprint devices are NOT interchangeable with each other. And, Boost Mobile is an entity of Sprint.

However, the best way to find out if you are able to activate the phone on a Boost Mobile Account is to contact Boost Customer Care:
