What Does This Code Mean?

I have been a boost customer for going on a couple of years now, and have never received a message like this, (below) could you please tell me what it means?[BSTFreeMsg: We use anonymous subscriber location data in our Reporting & Analytics program. Please and Thank you

It means they get your location from your phone and use it anonymously in reports. For example, they might want to find out where the majority of their customers use their cell phones in order to figure out where it would be best to put in new towers or possibly upgrade existing ones.
