Are food workers required to wear gloves when fixing and touching food? Very nasty if not! Touching different foods and other stuff while waiting for orders. Some wear them and others don't .

California State law does not require gloves to be worn, but does require that ready-to-eat food be prepared and served without bare hand contact. Wearing disposable sanitary gloves is one of several acceptable ways to comply with this law. It will very from state to state & the type of foods handled.
