Foot Glider Assembly For Symphony Steam Mop
I unpacked the Symphony steam mop and found part 412P-Foot-Glider with no instructions on how to attach it to the Symphony nor on it's proper use. Please explain it's use and explain how to attach it to the Symphony.

I called in to Bissell. They said to put mop pad on the main tray as you would for cleaning hard floor, then place whole thing over the carpet tray. It's not going to click into place. You can use it with steam with or without the vacuum on. I tried it and the glider stayed in place just fine while I ran both vacuum and steam. It lightly steamed my carpet to freshen it a little, but of course if your carpet is flattened, the glider isn't going to help with that.
