How To Unmute Binatone Mobile Phone

hi, my 94 year old father has muted his mobile phone and as I live 200 plus miles away cannot just nip round to unmute it. Please could you advise step by step on how to unmute it

During a call, press <MENU/OK>/MUTE> to turn on/off the microphone.

or

press Left Soft Key for Option then select Mute or unMute.
