No Dialling Tone.

Since yesterday I have had no dialling tone. I have checked all connections. My landline is supplied by BT, & I have checked online for any problems in my area, but everything is OK !. What can be causing this, and how can it be resolved ?John

Don't just look at the physical wires, trace the wire to every connection and check if there are entanglement or disconnections that could cause the problem, if this does not resolve the problem, get in contact with BT
