Problems With Purchasing Games

I have downloaded several games for ipad, including The Yellow Room and Venice. Everything is fine until I have to unlock the rest of the game-when I click on already purchased, a message comes back saying that there no record of a purchase. When I then click on buy game, the message says that I have already bought it and that I should click to download. I love your games and feel really disappointed that I can't play some of them.
