Burnt Dreams

In burnt dreams my hint keeps freezing, stating " I feel like I'm wondering around in a fog." Also the mechanical bird will not sit on its perch. I've tried restarting the game but the hint still seizes up. It's just very frustrating to get so far in a game and not be able to complete it. Thank you genine
