Playback

I cannot for the life of me get playback of recorded material though phones or studio monitors. I have literally tried everything! I am currently running the mixer into a desktop, Windows 7 and running Audacity. All settings in Audacity and the PC are correct as far as the recording and speaker selections. I feel it is some setting on the mixer's "control Room" that is incorrect, although I have tried every combination I feel. It records fine, just cannot hear any playback. Actually, if I mess with some of the butttons on the mixer I can slightly hear the playback. Extremely low and very tinny. Please help!
