My Internet Is Working, My Phone Isn't, Why?

  1. Unplug all phone cords from the BasicTalk Box.
  2. Unplug the power and wait 30 seconds. You can remove the power plug from either the BasicTalk Box or the wall outlet.
  3. Plug the power back into the BasicTalk Box with phone cords still disconnected.
  4. Wait another 60 seconds after the BasicTalk Box indicates it is ready to make calls before you plug the phone cords back in and test for a dial tone.
    Contact us if you continue not to have a dial tone.
