I Purchase A 1 Year Avast Antivius 1 Month Ago, Now Telling Me My Trial Is Up?

I purchased on line a 1 year subscription to Avast antivirus, and it has only been a month and it keeps popping up on monitor that my trial is about to expire, and I either need to buy another subscription, or enter a license number, which I never received.  How can I get this taken care of?

This is not an unusual problem with Avast or other security companies. You must record the license number. Have you reviewed all email correspondence from Avast to look for the license number?

You have a few options - I prefer the last one

  • Contact AVAST Sales department 00-420-274-005-777 (they are in the Czech Republic. 
  • You could contact their US office at 1-650-378-1390 but that might not be the office you really need. Worth a try though. 
  • Or send an email to Sales Support using their online email form located on their website.
  • Before you call or email take a look at the receipt for the payment. If you paid online you will have a credit card record of that payment and the payment date.  You will need both the amount and the date before you contact AVAST.
  • Contact AVAST at 1-877-314-5079 for Tech Support
  • I don't think you'll have much luck with iYogi at 877-877-9362 but since you are a paid product user - despite the lack of license number - call 1-877-314-5079
  • One last thing.  Check the AVAST License center online: http://www.avast.com/en-us/license-center 
  • and you also have the option to request that your license be resent

Get the payment amount and date and then use the last option.
