Asus Blu-ray Writer Sbc-06d2x-u

My mac will not recognise this optical drive. When it is plugged in the disc spins up and the lights flash a few times, that is all. Asus support does not appear to list this drive. OSX 10.7.5 2.4 Ghz intel Core 2 Duo 4 Gb 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
