Asko W600 Washing Machine Will Not Spin

My fantastic asko washing machine of 12 years will now not spin or turn in any cycle. This is the first problem I have ever had with it, please help, I love this washer, any suggestions? Can I take the back off to check the motor myself? I have checked fuse and drain plug and all is good.
