When Will I Get My Id Card And Id Number So I Can Use My New Insurance?

I have made my first payment on line to my new Covered Ca Blue Cross. I have an acceptance letter that gives an application number. I need an ID membership number to use my insurance. How can I get that number. I have tried calling but calls aren't accepted due to "high Volume" and there isn't a place on the acrual web page.

I was in the same boat. I got my new ID numer without waiting for a live person by calling as a 'member' and chosing the option to get a 'replacement card'. I used my social security number when the phone prompt asked for my ID number. The card came roughly 7 days later. However it still was not recogized by my phamacy so I did have to make a new phone call to customer service to make it "work".
