How To Cancel's Son's Indiv Ins Plan?
We need to cancel our son's individual insurance plan with Anthem Blue Cross, as he is now covered by his new employer's plan. His monthly premium on the individual plan is coming out of my checking account, can I talk to someone to have it cancelled?

The easiest way to do it is to not pay your monthly premium. That inadvertently sends them a message that you need to cancel your policy. In the meantime, you have to provide them with a written statement confirming that you indeed wish to cancel your policy effective immediately (or whichever date you chose). Be sure to include your member number in your statement. If you live in California, you can fax your statement to 805-713-8845.
