Additional Luggage

I am flying on a code share Qantas/American Airlines flight from Boston to Brisbane, Australia in Premium Economy on Sunday 29th March. My flight goes via LAX. I need to take 3 x suitcases all weighing 45lb(23kg) I have checked with Qantas and they are happy for me to do this as long as I pay an extra $150 for the additional suitcase. Could you confirm that American Airlines will also honour this arrangement. Will American Airlines charge an extra fee for this? Please advise asap.
