I Am Member With Aa And I Haven't Received An Promotion Code Yet,why?

I always receive great deals from AA via email ,now I am very interested in going on a round trip ATL-NYC and when i enter the info to get the deal,it asks for a promotion code,which I dont have and I am wondering why I haven't received a promotion code via email yet since i am a member with the company?
