How Do I Reset My Forgotten Password?

I just set up an email at AOL. I forgot my password. I know I never gave them an alternate email address when I filled out the form... yet it says they have sent instructions on how to reset my password to my alternate email address. Other places on the site it says I can just answer a security question. (I know I set up one of those). How do I do this?
