Blacked Out User Names/passwords With Imac Apple And My Aol Browser

After contacting Apple on 15 May, they confirmed that AOL has a technical problem ref; the above Question Title. I must go to Safari iyo by-pass this problem which still exists. What is AOL doing to correct this serious problem?
