I have been using my kindle to purchase books. I am now getting this message You do not have a valid default credit card specified for your Amazon.com user account. Why.

Hello There, the first thing you will want to do is verify your credit card info on your account is ok to do so. . login to your Amazon account :

Click on 1-Click Payment Settings to the right. Make sure everything there is correct including you billing address. If it all appears okay, I'd contact customer support. There may be some little item that's not set up quite right that they can fix for you.

TO contact Kindle Customer Service:

Click on the big orange 'CONTACT US' button to the right.
You may have to sign in. I recommend you use the PHONE or CHAT options.
Do NOT use e-Mail.
CALL ME under the PHONE tab is great if available.
They will call you within minutes.

Go into your Amazon Account and Look up You're Credit card/Payment information. If it's Correct and there's nothing to fix use the Chat option on amazon or Call an amazon representative in order to get to the bottom of the problem. Amazon is really good at listening to their customers.
