Radio Does Not Work

This happened randomly yesterday. The radio and USB has worked fine previously. Once radio was powered on there was no sound from the FM radio. I attempted to change station to no avail. I then tried to switch to USB and it did nothing. I then removed and reinstalled the faceplate. This worked to get the USB to work. Once I switched back to radio it all froze again. I again removed/reinstalled the faceplate to access USB. It seems to work fine for USB mode but not in radio mode.

I suggest you clean the contacts in both faceplate and the stereo.

if that does not fix the freezing problem then you must update the radio's firmware' firmware update instructions are found on this link http://alpine-usa.com/feeds/promo/12avupdate
