Why Wont My Touch Screen Work?

I have a alpine PMD-B100T an my touch screen wont work, when it goes to the accept screen it wont let me hit accept, its like my screen is frozen or something. When I actually get it to work then it wont let me put my destination in or anything the screen simply just isnt working. Can you please tell me why its not working? An if I can do something about this?
