Cannot Detect Other Bluetooth Device

my laptop travelmate x483 cannot detect other bluetooth device. what shall i do?

The bluetooth device drivers are not installed or the os you are using does not have the correct drivers for your bluetooth device. try to update the drivers from windows update.
