No Monitor Input Signal
I have a new Aspire X3960. Following connection to a monitor there is no signal input. What shall I do?

These things will rely on you having the parts on hand to perform the steps.
Try these things:
- Try another monitor.
- Try the monitor on another PC/laptop
- Try another video card.
- Try another video cable.
- Try a different type of video cable (digital verses analog)
- Verify that there is power on both the monitor and the PC.
- Verify that the PC is turning on.
Beyond this you will need to take it into a service shop. There will be nothing else you can try at home without spare parts to swap in.
